Bobbie-Jo Webb-Robertson
Expertise
Dr. Webb-Robertson's research interests includes the development of statistical inference models, largely machine learning, with application to bioinformatics problems such as the analysis of protein function, mass spectrometry based peptide identification, and data integration. Previous work includes the use of Bayesian and support vector machine methods to derive new algorithms that improve the task of protein homology searches. Recent work has focused on the development of Bayesian fusion methods that allow the integration of large and heterogeneous datasets.
