Ann Miracle

Expertise

Dr. Miracle came to PNNL from the Environmental Protection Agency where she developed microarrays for the fathead minnow; a standard aquatic toxicology model organism. She currently manages multi-laboratory projects that involved incorporating the use of genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolite profiling to understand the impacts of stressors on aquatic organisms. Her current research interests involve the incorporation of molecular endpoints, or biomarkers, into relevant risk assessment guidelines, and other areas of ecological research.
