Nathaniel Beagley
Expertise
Nathaniel Beagley's research focus falls in the intersection of mathematical and statistical algorithm development, computational implementation, and the analysis of large data sets. He looks to develop new and optimized analysis algorithms, new methods for large data organization, and new perspectives on visualization in the process of creating data analysis software tools for domain users. Some of his current and recent projects include: spectral analysis on single and multi-dimensional mass spectrometry and gas chromatography instrument data, classification of atmospheric states in a global climate model, and real time network intrusion detection of streaming internet packet header data.
